Welcome to the
homepage of Rikke Bergendahl in Norway
These pages contains a lot of info and pictures about my dogs and the
breed in general.
I got my first Siberian Husky in 1974 and have owned dogs of this breed since
then, in varying numbers.
I have been
involved in the SH and sleddog-community in most of these years, allthough
not allways in
active racing.
My main concern in breeding is workability, but to be typical siberians, health, temperament, anathomy and breedtype have to be important too. An ideal SH is an easy keeper, friendly, pretty, healthy, relativly fast sleddog that still resembles his origin from a harsh arctic environment.
Nay-La-Chee
dogs are found in raceteams, couches and showrings, most are recreational sledding/ skijoring dogs in active families
I race in middledistance and do show to some extent, mostly in specialties.
